It is hard to introduce yourself because you know yourself so well that you do not know where to start. To make it easier, Marie will introduce Japhin and Japhin – Marie.

Early life

Japhin was born in India. It was not until his first year of Seminary that he fell in Love with God. It all started one fine morning when God graciously chose to speak to him. That Saturday changed him; he dedicated his life to serving him. Marie grew up in Germany. In her later teenage, Marie encountered God in France when she read the Old Testament for the first time. Ever since, she has had a growing relationship with God.

Ukraine

Japhin came to Ukraine after hearing about the need for Bible teachers in Kyiv. Japhin has been working in Kyiv since 2018. Marie came to Ukraine to work with a political organisation (she was pursuing a career in international relations) but soon realised that God alone can bring a genuine change in a person’s life. This realisation made her dedicate her life to serving God.

Prime Focus

We primarily work with a Bible school in Ywam Kyiv. After a busy day, we relax by studying. We are one of those few people who really enjoy the process of studying. So, I think it only made sense to God to call us into teaching ministry. But we know that this is a big responsibility and we do not take it lightly.
